I applied online. It took weeks before I heard anything. I got an email from recruiter for a phone interview. Recruiter called me on Thursday. I got a call from the recruiter for an interview with Branch Manager on Monday. Interview went good. Manager very professional and down to earth. Interview last about 25 to 30 minutes long. We continue talking almost one hour and a half. I was prepare for my interview. Research Bb&T Bank. I asked questions. Branch Manager was impressed. He said good questions. Needless to say. I got offer the job the next day.
Applied online through their website. The next day got an email asking when I have time for a phone interview. Phone interview was scheduled the next day. Basic questions about your experience. A couple days later I received a call from a Branch Manager to come in for an interview. It went really really well, the manager was so nice. Again, questions are about your experiences. A week later I was scheduled for another interview with a District Manager. The next day they offered the position and it was higher than the position I applied for. Then onto the next step. Background, credit check and fingerprint. Goodluck.
I applied online, 2 weeks later I had a phone interview then received a call for face to face the next day. After interview I received a job offer like 2 weeks later, did background check on Friday, fingerprinting on Monday, once cleared I received emails to start so about it takes a month from start to finish.
I interviewed on a Monday was officially offered the position Tuesday, I completed fingerprints, they completed background check all on Wednesday and I received my official 'cleared for hire' email the same day (Wednesday)! So it took 3 days from start to finish to get the job! I started work 2 weeks from my interview date...I had to give my old job SOME notice! Love BB&T and recommend it to anyone needing a change or wanting a good career!
It only took me two days to be hired, interviewed and on the job. stayed for 10+ years in a job that didn't appreciate me. Hiring really depends on how much the interviewer's manager likes you, favoritism goes a long way here. Don't get on their bad side, they will pin every bad decision they make on you.
Very smooth and impressive hiring process. Contacted by recruiter and interviewed me. Recruiter referred me to meet with branch manager who was very professional and gave me company's profile and job requirement. Then I got call from recruiter to meet with area team leader. Being team leader he set my expectations. And three days after; the recruiter called and made job offer to me. Very quick and smooth hiring process!

It took a couple weeks. Apply online on company website. Some branches are designated as multicultural branches, meaning English and Spanish are very highly recommended.
Many steps to get hired, about 2 months from start to finish
