Diversity
Great for entry level careers but not for long term advancement. Management not always most knowledgeable and professional, and the promotions are based on who’s who, and not work ethic, etc.

Availability to work remotely.
I loved the convenience of being able to work from home. The pay was horrible, the morale within the company was horrible. You are expected to take calls and help out in other areas that your are unfamiliar with and still expected to live up to high expectations for taking calls in that department that your are not familiar with or haven't worked in for years.

Enjoyed working there
It was an okay job. Processing payments for insurance claims. It was in a nice building that had a gym and cafeteria. It also had a basketball and volleyball.

Terrible insurance coverage by BCBS of SC
I worked as a temp for a great division and then as a direct employee this time for their VA services contract. Mostly Great management at the first. One TERRIBLE manager at the second. Both divisions required in-office work and the VA plus additional, compulsory, 10 hrs over time per week! I contracted Covid and was hospitalised. Their own insurance only paid $200 out if the billed $40K! They offered work from home while I recovered but reneged after I left hospital.

Job security
Overall a decent company but there could be improvement in the pay. It’s a lot of work and a lot expected of you. They give small raises but they do give incentives
