Just depends on how much work there is, work till the job is done.

Be fair, equal (To both men and women), and respectful to anybody that works in or for the company. Favoritism should not be tolerated. Higher ups should take time to meet their employees so they can understand everyone’s perspective.

How often do raises occur at BD?
Asked October 19, 2016
Raises have historically been keeping up with the increase cost of living. More recently, the raises have been cut with excuses of poor plant performance as the cause. BD made 15 billion last year, and they are doing their best to not give anybody except upper management a piece of the pie. Turnover is at massive levels and they cant get anyone to accept offers unless they are a recent graduate without any experience. Once a new employee gets about 3 years experience, they leave for more money/better work environment. Current employees are mostly one of two flavors - high seniority abused people that are too far invested to leave, or new employees that have 1-3 years. Benefits are lame when you think that BD is directly profiting from the medical business. Premiums keep going up, and you can expect to pay around $5500 a year just straight off the top of your pay. BD also used to have a pension, but they silently stopped doing that for new employees. BD used to be a great place to work, but unfortunately has rolled back down to the bottom of the hill.

A corporate recruiter reached out to me after seeing my resume on careerbuilder they were fast in getting me in for a interview roughly 4 days ( New Jersey) met with 3 people supervisor, operations manager, and the facility director roughly 5 hours total however it was very relaxing and a great thorough tour of everything very small facility compared to what I’m use to but I liked it. All three people were very pleasant to talk too. I feel the interview went very well and the job will actually be easier but very attention to detail which I will like not to mention it’s only 10 min from the house. I was told a decision will be made in a week however I was fortunate to be the first to interview so the bar will be set high for the other candidates lol. In closing job seekers need to understand there is a process in place for hiring and it can be time consuming which I expected so no surprise my plan is to keep plugging away at interviews which is always a good situation to be in ..

The usual questions that everyone ask you but I had a few of my own to ask and I received upfront answers. They were questioning my job longevity due to being a professional contractor. Some contractors are years long while others are just a few weeks. I am an engineer that worked in many fields and medical was one of them. The company would need an individual that has both medical and technical writing backgrounds.
