Account Executive (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – August 24, 2018
I’ll keep this short and sweet, but my experience has been great!
I am a recent graduate from Pitt, and I was very unsure getting into the work place. I have a degree in business administration.
Almost daily I would get calls for positions similar to an account executive and almost every time it left me interviewing for a company that did door to door sales, or worked in retail store selling random products to people walking by (not my idea of marketing)
I met with Bealstone, and immediately I knew they were different. The growth they have talked about is aggressive and demanding, but real.
The sales / consultations are all with business customers who actually need the products we sell - office supplies (some medical, but that sector is a bit beyond my knowledge)
Compensation - commissions, bonuses, residuals, on top of base pays and benefits.
This has been an amazing expereince so far and I look forward to growing with the company long term.
Senior Account Executive (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – August 9, 2018
Fun team Great culture - team is always laughing, enjoying there mornings and upbeat. Music always playing. There’s an office puppy!!! So many positives above it the environment
Day to day - working with Staples / Quill you manage office supply accounts. So meeting with customers B2B at their business and see if they’re using us or they’re happy. If not, we help lower their prices or improve their experience. I love meeting new people and being social and outside all day. Unfortunately it’s Pittsburgh, so I cannot day I’m out in the sun all day :D
Great advancement and bonus track. Ability to earn promotions and make a lot of extra money. I graduated from Pitt in December and currently am averaging around $1100 per week. So pretty good starting pay.
Great environment, morning coffee, bagels, donuts, advancement, no weekends
Entry level B2B office/medical supply sales (Former Employee) – Monroeville, PA – February 16, 2018
Get to office in morning and there is a constructive morning meeting pertaining to the days events and life. Fun games to promote positive attitude to carry with ones self going into the sales day. Hardest part of job is the 95% rejection rate. Business to business sales is very tough and if you do not sell anything you don't make any money. Management was very involved and never left anyone in the dark
Account Executive (Current Employee) – Monroeville, PA – March 25, 2018
Company has exceeded my expectations thus far. I started entry level out of college. Starting with the sales training I was a little intimidated since I did not have any professional training. This program was very hands on and allowed me to get up to speed quickly. The training program was very hands on (out and about with account executives) and allowed me to get up to speed very quickly.
The next few months have been focused on the leadership development and management training program. My background is in the hospitality field working as a bartender and server. I do not exaggerate when I say the support of the management team is amazing. They have been there every step of the way for guidance. There have been times where I have doubted myself and my abilities, but the team is so supportive and energetic that it's hard not to come through for them.
I would definitely recommend working here!
Young environment, great training, past-paced growth, supportive team
Open communication, growth minded, people helping people, great entry level experience
Senior Account Manager (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – December 17, 2017
This company actually cares about what's best for their people. Promotes management opportunity and encourages gaining as much experience for an entry level position. The atmosphere is positive and fun. Skill sets that are taught can be transferred to any industry or personal life betterment. I encourage those inquiring about the position to ask lots of questions.
Independent work with team environment, unlimited income potential, performance based
Not an easy clock in-clock out, work ethic required (some would see these as cons)
Sales Account Manager (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – January 20, 2018
I’ve worked with Bealstone over a year. Coming in I had 0 experience in sales with only restaurant experience. The hands on training was helpful for me to learn efficiently and quickly, the book memorization was minimal which I enjoyed. I felt welcomed although overwhelmed at first, but looking back now a year later I can say I feel I learned more than I did in my 4 year degree, including:
Positive outlook in my work and my daily life How to speak to educated/ older/ wealthier business owners effectively How to generate revenue and new customers for a company Interview candidates and train all types of people Run meetings and presentations Finance and budget Look beyond the day to day and figure out what I wanna do with my life!
A lot of personal growth with experience I can take to any career.
Account Manager (Current Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – July 20, 2017
Bealstone Inc. is a great place to learn and grow skills. They focus on building up core skills with people who have no prior experience. They work really hard so if you are just looking for something to pay the bills, I wouldn't recommend it. If you are looking to learn new skills and possibly a career, this is a good place to work.
leadership workshops, bonuses, travel
longer hours, responsibility, autonomy in your role.
Sr. Account Manager (Former Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – July 10, 2017
This is a great sales job that gives you the skills need to be a successful salesman. Unfortunately, the commissions are very hard to build since it is a business to business office supple company. The industry is falling all together, but I recommend using this job to learn the skills of sales.
