Interviewed with floor manager & nursing assistant. Got called back to come in to shadow for 2 hours to see if the unit was a fit for me. 2 hours went quick. Made beds and changed briefs. Was told to wait to hear back and not to quit my current job which is also a beaumont company, but to wait on a call back. A month later, no call back. Called manager interviewer left message. Nothing. Called HR talked and they sais they would check on it and call me back. No word yet. On other hand a coworker went in to interview on another floor and everything went smoothly. Was offered the job on the spot. Asked to setup to come in and shadow. Got orientation dates to start. Went great for her. Same company, different manager and unit. Every unit and manager runs things differently. 4 of my coworkers, that work there love it there & thats why I applied. Thought it would be a smooth transfer like it was for them. Not! I'll keep applying until I get a position

It was pretty routine and friendly. Got a call to set-up and interview and met with someone from HR and manager of my department. After the interview they called and offered me the job, after the initial offer it took about 3 weeks before I started working. A background check was done, also was sent to get my vaccinations in order, as well as a hospital orientation which took about 3 days.
