Great culture before becoming corporate
Employees do their best though the new top management either doesn't know how to value their employees or just choose not to. Some established competent employees throughout being let go.
I'm friends with a manager who was highly competent, loved by all, and who was considered by many to be the face of Beaumont. Was let go after many years for no reason. Not the only one this happened to. I got a new supervisor and the hiring appeared to be a case of favoritism. I am known for my friendliness and this supervisor could walk by me all day and not acknowledge my existence. This person is prideful, known to talk down to subordinates in front of others and claims to know things of which they are completely clueless about. Has made several hires of old cronies. Tied for worst boss I have ever worked for going back 45 years.
I love the hospital and my fellow employees. Just wish the new upper management and their hires valued their employees.
