Job security....that's about it

In the lab department, the management is extremely poor. Management does not know what is going on a majority of the time and makes decisions without employee input. There is too many "management" positions and it needs to be downsized because some management positions are just fillers for job security.
People hired into the higher positions, do not care about their employees and do not help out when staffing is low. Instead, we are pushed to work harder to try to reach management's goals to make themselves look good, while they are sitting in the office either on the phone or surfing the web. It has gotten to a point where people are quitting right and left or people will call in sick because they are overworked.
Raises?! You can forget getting a raise unless the cost of living goes up. Pretty soon fast food workers will be making more than hospital employees.
