I primarily work at projects. Here is what I've done over the years. It depends on the project. Ask for the "assignment conditions".
-10 hours a day, 4 days a week
-10 hours a day, 5 hours a week
-10 hous a a day, 6 days a week, followed by 10 hours a day, 5 days a week (repeat)
-12 hours a day, 6 days a week (international job, 8 weeks on 2 weeks off)

48 hrs a week
80 hours every two weeks.
Monday thru Thursday 7 am - 5 pm (1 hour lunch).
Friday alternates every other week one is 7 am - 4 pm, the other one is off.Monday through Thursday is 7am-5:20pm Friday is 7am-3:20pm and weekends if worked will be 8 hours as well like Friday.
Loved the hours, next time tho will not go for a inside pass. Like the day off , but when work slowed down , was missing a couple of days. Like working seven days a week.
