Laid off after 15+ years, during which I received only glowing reviews and worked like a machine (which ended up having a negative effect on my health). Was dropped like a hot stone once I couldn't be their machine anymore - no thanks, no severance, no extension of benefits, no assistance with finding other work. Only emphasis on confidentiality and other obligations on paperwork that was signed 15+ years ago that apparently I should have memorized word for word at the time.

The project was done. The next job was too far from the house. Would love to be back working with the group. Top notch team.
