A really great place to work!
Teacher (Current Employee) –  Brooklyn, NYMay 17, 2018
I've worked here for almost 2 years. The days can be a bit long and the work is hard, but the staff really cares about the students and each other. The culture here is really collaborative and the school leaders are open and approachable. The benefits here are awesome too!
Pros
Great benefits and teh staf really cares
Cons
The days can be long sometimes, but not always.

The teachers really care about the kids and try hard to make sure all the kids are learning. The days can be tough and a bit long, but seeing the kids succeed makes the effort worth it.
Pros
Good pay and benefits, good management, good staff, kids are great
Cons
Frequent changes, middle school and lower school can be disjointed

Working at Bed-Stuy New Beginnings has been great. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Everyone works hard to make sure the kids are given the best education possible. The teachers really care about our students and work hard to help them learn. The school has a great benefits package, and the management team is very approachable. Overall, I'm really happy working here.

stressful work envirnoment with a lot of unrealistic deadlines
PROJECT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Brooklyn, NYMarch 31, 2017
The hardest part of the job is dealing with supervisors who are prejudice and gave an overwhelming work load to minorities with unrealistic deadlines.
There evaulation system for employees does not matter the rubric they clam to use as a guide to evaulate.
Cons
very stressful work envirnoment
