I was basically hired on spot before the interview. I had the background, knowledge and previous experience for what they were looking for. Also, the type of attitude and work ethic that they were looking for. I was the perfect fit for what they were looking to fulfill that position.


Originally when I was hired I had to a do a background check and a TB test. I did have references from former employer. I also volunteered at another school for 2 months and then was hired that Jan.
Because I had worked for the system for 15 years I was able to sub even though I don't have a degree. That was a plus.


They asked mostly about my previous experience working for the same type of company in the same type of position. Which I had left because we moved out of state, from CT to VA
