Effective way to find temporary and flexible work

Beach Valley has a broad network of financial and accounting focused companies seeking experienced individuals to add to their temporary workforce. There were multiple offers for roles that matched my skillset. Depending on desired roles, there may be some lag time before you get placed into a job.

They are very judgy, rude, condescending, and short term thinkers. They do not value employees and write them off. They do not meet with you and speak with you directly. They treat people like children who they can dispose of at a whims notice, in a time when it is hard enough to find workers. I highly discourage anyone from working with these people.

My interactions with Beech Valley were very smooth and professional, They offer support throughout your contract with the employer, They match you to an employer, you can work part time from home, they are available and very responsive, the pay is competitive, they accurately represent the job.

Very seamless process

BV is really supportive of their contract workers, and has a very seamless process. As long as the job assigned is in good shape, there are no micro managing. You'll fee in control of your time and get paid for the time worked within the period stipulated in your contract.

Cons

Its contract so no security, downtime while on the job is out of your control and affect your hours and pay.

Overall Amazing Company

I just completed my first contract with BV and I love working with this company. The hiring/screening process is very efficient. They made it straight forward and easy to become a contractor as along as you meet the requirements. Once approved, I was receiving opportunities the next day. Everyone I have communicated with was very helpful and professional, they make the process for new contractors seamless. As I worked through my contract, they also provide a liaison that will help you with any questions or issues during your time. Their billing is also very efficient and makes it easy to get paid, on time.

I wanted to return to work after the covid-19 lockdowns but wanted to have more flexibility and control over my schedule. Becoming a Beech Valley Consultant was the best choice I could make. Beech Valley has allowed me to work from home as well as the ability to choose my schedule and which projects I want to work on. The Beech Valley team has been incredible to work with! They are extremely professional and helpful.

Beech Valley has allowed me to successfully transition from a CFO role to a freelance accounting and finance consultant without taking a step back in pay. Due to family reasons, I needed work that allowed me to be more flexible, get paid for every hour that I worked, and dictate my own schedule. By becoming a Beech Valley consultant, I have gained access to companies in need of my expertise that I never would have had access to otherwise all while achieving these goals. Beech Valley's staff/team is friendly, responsive, and motivated all while being really good at their jobs. They really care about the consultant and make it feel less like a transaction and more like a collaboration.

I work for Beach Valley for over a year as an consultant. In the beginning, the job application process is a little lengthy. I took the test and submit my application. Then I need to wait for BV to match me to an appropriate client. I went through couple interviews with clients as normal interview process. Once matched, it became much easier. I am currently working with an audit firm which allows me to work on various fun projects that I could never have in a full time position. The billing process with BV is very straight forward. Monthly they will check in with me for my availability for new client. Clients are all very professional.
