Behavior TLC helped me obtain my RBT credentials. The supervisors and therapists were always willing to provide assistance during sessions. I received feedback consistently which helped me grow professionally as someone new to the field.

The workdays are short, about 6 hours. You might have to do an after school session every once in a while. Current BCBA's are great to work with. Pay is decent, and happens every other week. Relatively small clinic so you get to know everyone well. Highly recommend over other, more profit motivated, clinics.

I am finally able to leave a review for this company!I LOVED Behavior TLC! I worked for the Cypress location and loved everyone there! I only left due to mental health things I had to get situated BUT they reached out to check on me afterwards informing me they miss me (I miss them too)! I felt like I was growing there & the recognition was EVERYTHING. They were encouraging me to go to school so I can get my internship hours (I’m finally in school after leaving their company) and gave you treats & tokens to exchange for things out of the office. BTLC does not mind going out of their way to promote RBTs who are doing great. They have food in the kitchen for RBTs, free lunch/appreciation gifts more often than usual. I loved the training staff the only thing I can say is they could work on making the schedule more flexible so that a therapist isn’t working with the same client 90% of the week especially if the client is super challenging. Yes it is our job to help with challenging behaviors BUT if you’re only given the same 2-3 clients out of 7-8 90% of the time it can become a burnout which played a part in my mental relapse. It was just very hard for me to be transparent at the time because they were already being so supportive around my outside schedule. I would definitely go back if I could!

lots of cliques, hard to fit in. The training was a mess, very confusing who to speak to about what situation. I wouldn't take my child there, or any other ABA clinic.

Behavior TLC's work environment is warm and welcoming. If you are looking to get into ABA therapy, this is a great place to learn. Behavior TLC has given me skills that I could have used at previous employment. It is a wonderful place to work because the work does not feel like work!
