Everyone is very sweet here. Worked with lovely families but the hours aren’t the greatest. Summer hours you can expect more hours meaning more money but once school starts the hours are cut significantly due to the kids being gone most of the day. If you’re looking for full time hours, I’d suggest somewhere else. Would recommend for part time students
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Fairfax, VA

Working as an RBT can definitely be difficult, but it is incredibly rewarding to watch the growth and progress that clients make. BCBAs are typically really nice people and genuinely care about what you have to say/specific needs you have. They are also more than willing to give more training. Although starting as an RBT is a bit stressful if you've never done it before, it may seem like you got it down from all the training but being thrown in can be shocking depending on the client. Regardless, I think being an RBT is a great experience and if you want to work in mental healthcare or ABA specifically I'd recommend it. Also the pay is very good.

Great company to work for. Upper management is extremely helpful. Work environment is inviting and kind. Health insurance is wonderful and PTO is great.

I have always felt respected and heard from day one. The supervisors are attentive, fair, and incredibly helpful if I’ve ever had a question or concern.

Ask a lot of questions. Be a team player! Communication with your Supervisor is key to helping your client succeed. If you are unsure of how to handle any situation your Supervisor will help you.
