Transaction Director, Investment Banking (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 16, 2019
Solid company that is growing. More suitable for younger professionals in Finance looking to grow their resume. Company has lacking senior management that provides little in terms of expectations.
Pros
Growing with opportunities
Cons
Lack of guidance

Staff is talented, not much leadership from above
Senior Business Analyst (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 13, 2018
Benchmark has a ton of talented, dedicated individuals. Unfortunately, executive team lacks in leadership. Days are filled with useless meetings, employees are encouraged to work late hours, yet get chastised for showing up 5 minutes late.

Management should allow their employees to breath a little in order to boost morale in the office.

Quality Inspector (Former Employee) –  Bellevue, OHSeptember 8, 2018
I worked full time at first but hours dropped and I was able to pick up overtime at my main job. They will work with you and are rather respectful and respectable people. It can be boring but when there’s work it’s a group effort.
Pros
Great part time job or 2nd job. Good for those on disability or SSI as well.
Cons
Hours are not always stable as a main job unless retired.

Coworkers are a great bunch, fun to be around
M&A Associate (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 16, 2018
Benchmark has no training program and a lot of what I learned there was done on my own. Upper management has their favorites and not being one of them can get you passed over for promotions
Pros
Paid time off and the culture is very relaxed
Cons
lack of training program, commission schedule is set in stone, If you perform extra duties in a transaction you are not compensated for these extra efforts

NGB Liaison J6 (Former Employee) –  Colorado Springs, ColoradoFebruary 3, 2014
Interfaced with representatives of all branches of the military and homeland security. Wrote letters of agreement and understanding to allow common areas of support and communications between the National Guards of the various states and USNORTHCOM and other federal agencies in support of improved responsiveness to national emergencies, planning and preparations. Overcoming difficulties in finding common ground of agreement and platforms necessary to accomplish the mission was a continual challenge
Working at the four-star command level was exciting and offered many opportunities to contribute to mission accomplishment.
