RCA in Smithtown, NY

I enjoyed the first month of working here and after that, COVID hit and the pandemic began. After the many losses we took as family in the dementia unit where I worked, the numbers of COVID patients dropped and so were a lot of our hours. Many workers forced to seek employment elsewhere or extra hours elsewhere.

Good place to work if you like working in an assisted living the residents are amazing people and most of them are very kind. Good team effort among all staff, the flexibility in scheduling needs to be fixed and they need to pay higher wages but overall a decent place to work.

Great company would suggest this company to anyone. Respect employees. Residents and families a great talk with yes. This company is very family oriented
Resident Care Associate in North Attleboro, MA

Poor management, doesn’t value their staff .Don’t expect any raises after years of working for the company. Don’t expect anything other than a pat on the back for picking up extra shifts and sacrificing your personal time to come in and work on days off for them. Not much consideration/flexibility for high risk workers during the pandemic
Receptionist in Niantic, CT

Everyone, from the executive director to the housekeepers, treats the residents with kindness and respect. Working with the elderly (especially those with dementia) is very challenging work, but I think the staff at my particular Benchmark location are exceptional in how they truly care about all of the people who live there.
