The culture at Benchmark is work constantly for low pay, then complain about OT. They don't want to hear about your sick child or a need to take an early day to find an apartment (when your at risk for homelessness). They just don't care.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Benchmark Senior Living a better place to work?
I would put more emphasis on caring and quality of life than the money.
Does Benchmark Senior Living enforce harassment, bullying, and discrimination policies and procedures fairly taking every complaint seriously, investigating them all and then rectify the problem or do they seem to pick and choose who too protect and help?
Nope. The manegment gets in employeers faces and they all have attitude with you unless they like you. They also gossip. This happened in Brookfield, CT
How much do activities assistants get paid? how are the working hours? what are some tips for an interview?
Activity assistants average about $15-16 per hour
The future looks grim...new investors, shockingly high turnover in community mamangement leads to a dead end. The stress employees face is unbearable. How will Benchmark survive this way?
