If you want to work for a company which is repeatedly making the same mistakes over and over again and never willing to look in the mirror to realize they are the problem and take the extra steps needed to actually fix them - this is the place for you! Prepare yourself for ultimate dysfunction. The primary focus is always on numbers and less on QUALITY. Departments don't work well together because they lack good communication. The only thing consistent about BeneSys is the inconsistency!
I have never worked for a company that lies to you during the interview process with false promises and then literally lies to you about all facets of the business every day once you are onboarded. There is zero room for advancement based on your merit and experience. People that might be promoted typically have an inside track because they are tight with the right person - NOT BASED ON THEIR MERITS. You literally have to fight for your compensation increases and even then they are never given when expected. Training is abhorrent - be prepared to be completely unprepared with zero support. The culture is completely toxic, which is led by direct managers lack of empathy for their employees. The ONLY priority they have is to continue to advance themselves and line their pockets at any cost. Your stress level is extremely high every day due to the barbaric threats and references of poor results from the team regardless of the hard work and effort. All of which is self inflicted due to extremely low morale & inadequate training. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!
This company is not good unless you are upper leadership or in the "club". Very poor benefits, pay, culture, morale, environment, and management. Limited diversity. If you are different, you will feel othered. Some executives and managers do not have education and experience appropriate to their roles and don't seem to know what they are doing a lot of the time. No direction, no training, no collaboration, no support. Badly under-staffed, no accountability in any way in any area, very siloed departments, archaic business model, very dated and physically dirty environment. There seems to be favortism and nepotism driving a lot of the hiring and employee discipline decisions. No advancement unless you are connected to someone higher up. Working here was the worst experience I've ever had with a job.
For a benefits company they have not so great insurance. The infrastructure was extremely old but you were held accountable for any downtime even though you could no longer even get parts for some of their servers.
When I first started at Benesys it was an amazing place that balanced profits with employee satisfaction and service to the client. Now it only cares about growth, acquisition and profit even though it's lack of focus on service and employee satisfaction leaves them perpetually understaffed and usually unable to meet clients needs. They are only reactive to situations and never proactive. The CEO is cold and distant showing little appreciation for the team and some of the people whove been made vice presidents have 0 idea what theyre doing.
