No Room for Real Advancement
Senior Executive Assistant to 8 Managing Directors (Former Employee) –  Hunt Valley, MDJuly 9, 2018
If you're not a part of the inner circle then you will never be treated fairly. Management only listens to those who they are friends with and it is impossible to get a good performance review because you have nothing to base it on.

Fast paced, interesting work
Executive Assistant (Current Employee) –  Emeryville, CAJanuary 16, 2018
BRG is a place that houses many intelligent people who act as experts in their fields. This cultivates a situation where you are surrounded by the best and brightest in a fast-paced, always evolving atmosphere.

Awful
Consultant (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDJanuary 24, 2017
Incompetent, technically challenged and stubborn managers. Employees are discussed as if they are property. Communication between the forced and inorganic hierarchy is dismal at best. Office is a dungeon
Cons
nepotism

Strong and Growing Litigation Consulting Firm
Senior Associate (Current Employee) –  Emeryville, CAMay 19, 2015
As is usual in the consulting industry, there is no typical day. I have been very fortunate while working at BRG, routinely performing at a level 3 levels ahead of my own as a result of working in a small team which often consisted of just me and the expert witness.

The hardest part of the job, particularly on larger cases, is seeing how your work fits into the bigger picture as a whole, and why that matters to the overall argument and analysis of the case.

The most enjoyable part of the job is the supportive structure from my junior staff peers. BRG incentivizes its employees by working for billable hours, but this has not stopped junior staff taking time from their own busy schedules to help others and corroborate on difficult issues.
Pros
Flexible Hours, Great Junior Staff, and Snacks!
Cons
Hours can be difficult in client services
