If you were in charge, what would you do to make Best Western a better place to work?
I would fire our head housekeeper. Because she doesn't do her share of the work she puts all on the asst. Head housekeeper.
There is no reward or advance for good work ethic/behavior there is no punishment for bad work ethic/behavior. Everyone just does what they want including the GM who gets employees drunk on lunch break then goes back work. There’s no structure or communication.
Does the Best Western pay their employees anything if that employee is getting excellent reviews about them?
Every Best Western is privately owned. The Best Western company had no standard for this, but the hotel you work for may do a bonus if they choose to. Other Best Westerns will not.
No but they probably should we’ve had more than a few house keepers with meth mouth and you can tell they were on meth the way they were acting. She still hired them.
Do more than 1 interview it’s give you the chance to see if someone is serious about coming back and let’s you get to know the person just a little bit more
