Beverly is a great community hospital to work in. Training was adequate, the culture of the staff is great, you are fairly compensated and they are organized. They offer support to their nurses in the form of ancillary staff such as IV nurses, wound nurses, security teams and very responsive nursing supervisors (at least on night shift).Human Resources - more ... can be a little slow to respond to applicants and the only downside is day shifts are sometimes slow to open (which is a positive thing for low turnover rates, but not so great for nurses hired to work nights in the beginning). I wanted to start ... - less
ProsSupportive staff, community setting, comraderie among staff, good resources, competitive pay, time off accrues quickly, discounted meals
ConsLack of flexibility (like any hospital)
