BevMo does provide flexible hours and seems to be a good environment for part time work. I do think Sr, Mgmt. is so focused on labor costs that it costs them in the long run, due to lost sales revenue potential. Save dollars an hour in labor costs but lose 3-4 times that in sales potential because no one there to help customers.

Decent environment for retail, but terrible corporate management, terrible raises.

Pace/stress level of work could vary pretty wildly depending on the time of day, location of store, and your position. For the average warm-body checker, the job is painfully easy. For anybody who promotes or actually wants to do stuff beyond mindlessly checking, the pace and job could become fairly fast and stressful, especially when you have to pick - more...
