It took about a week to get hired at big 5. I went to one interview that took about 20-30 minutes, once hired I went in so that I can fill out my paper work and in about 3 days i started working

There's a three month probation period where you are tought hands on how to do your job. After that they evaluate your work performance and hire you as a permanent employee.
