The length of time depends on the position, but we try to move quickly.

The hiring process typically looks like this:
1) We post a job ad and review every application that comes in.
2) When we see a candidate that seems to be a good fit, we schedule a phone interview with them.
3) If we're still excited about the candidate after the phone interview, we'll bring them in for an office visit, where they will usually meet at least two members of the management team.
4) After the office interview, we make a decision about that candidate. We may schedule several office interviews in a week, or we may be weighing the candidate against new applications we've received.
5) Various parts of this process take place all at once. For example, we don't wait any certain amount of time before scheduling a phone interview with a great candidate. We continue to review incoming applications as we conduct interviews until we find that perfect fit.

This full process can take anywhere from 1 to 4+ weeks depending on the position and the applications we receive.

All pay raises depend on individual and company performance. We make it very clear from day one what goals we're aiming for as a company and/or as a department. For sales, those goals involve the number of tours scheduled and the number of tours given. For production, those goals involve the number of websites launched. For marketing, those goals involve the number of inbound leads we receive.

When a member of the sales team consistently exceeds the goals set for them, they move up a level, receiving a pay raise as well as higher goals and expectations. The levels are outlined and always available to you.

When members of the production and marketing teams consistently contribute to meeting and exceeding department goals, they are considered for pay raises.

Therefore, the frequency of pay raises is 100% contingent on performance and goal-hitting. We aim to pay at or above the national averages for all positions. And the kicker: Since we're a startup, the opportunity to grow (your career, your salary, your knowledge) is much more dynamic.
