Loved working their and doing the people's hair Loved talking to them and helping them back to their room Loved loved loved loved loved They loved me as much as I love them They could be a handful you would have to know how to treat them because one day they are fine and the next they may not be
Big Elm Nursing Center is where I am completing my clinical. The staff has been very helpful with showing how to do procedures and explaining them in the real life setting. They have answered many questions along the way.
Nice place to work. People are pleasant and Management is very fair and supportive of staff.

Overall good place to work. Sarary is adequate. Benefits could be better. Like any place, workload can be stressful. You do it all. Notes are still handwritten. Paperwork is heavy and often very time-consuming. Nursing Upper Managemet staff doesn't hesitate to "dig in" and staff the floor themselves when staff is short for any reason. If you want time off, you usually get it without question.
All staff seem to work well together and help each other as needed.
supportive of staff, management is fair
long hours, 90 day wait period before benefits start
