Billtrust is a great place to work. The culture is friendly, open, and supportive. It can also be difficult at times to prioritize requests seeing as it is a fast-growing company and there is a lot to be done. That said, that comes with the territory of fast growth at any company. WLB a thing of the past. Expect to be told to do more with "urgency", with less resources, even if you've been burning both ends. Expect declining investment in benefits and people. Signs point to divestment.

My work, my coworkers, my managers, the culture - all outstanding. Then we were purchased by a private equity company and profit took precedence over people.I'd still recommend working for Billtrust, but be aware of the influence of private equity on employee stability.

Enjoyed working at Billtrust until I was suddenly notified I was laid off. Was given less severance ultimately then what I was originally told. They used to offer stock options but that went away when they went from being public traded to private.
