Reimbursement Specialist (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAAugust 15, 2019
The culture at this company is great. You get flex time and unlimited amount of overtime. Great training for any beginner wanting an office job and to get into the Healthcare Industry. If you are lucky you may have the opportunity to do different jobs and learn more.
Pros
Flex time/overtime available all the time.
Cons
Depending on the postition, advancement can be difficult to achieve.

OK to supplement your income but not as primary job
CUSTOMER CARE REP (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXAugust 6, 2019
If you're pursuing a supplemental income that you can do from home, then I recommend it. The only drawback is compensation isn't much in my opinion, which is a shame because other than that, it was a great work experience.
Pros
work from home
Cons
Small income

Don't even bother.
Technician (Former Employee) –  Rosemont, ILJuly 24, 2019
Working at Lifewatch was pretty great as far as jobs go. It was like a big family. Then BioTelemetry decided to buy it out. Things went downhill FAST.
Fears for job saftey put overwhelming pressure on all employees (and rightfully so) entire departments dissapeared. If you were one of the lucky departments to still be graced with a paycheck, your work was put under so much scrutiny that your fear for job saftey only increased. Basically everyone left after constant harrassment, never ending poor managment changes and lie after lie after lie.
What remains is a company that only cares about profit and nothing else. All empty seats have been filled with anyone that will take them...and it shows.
Such a shame...don't even bother.

Customer Service Device Specialist (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAJuly 19, 2019
It was ok. The schedule was the most difficult thing to handle. We were hired and promised a better shift however they completely switched up and open another office in another state and gave them them better shift to get them onboard.

Management / politicians / criminals all same
EKG Technician (Former Employee) –  Rosemont, ILJuly 14, 2019
I worked more than 2 years and more than a year since biotel take over the Lifewatch I was hired. Company is female dominant with very old retired thick minded old folks to run this company. Sadly, management is under qualified for management position with lack of ethics, professionalism and all are more politicians than management. They all work to save their jobs only

Low pay
EKG Monitor Technician (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJuly 10, 2019
Training is at $17.50 and after certification is $19.50 . Not worth it unless you live in SF . If you commute it's not even worth the time. For the bay area they pay minimum wage for what bay area pay would be for this position.

Horrible management and pay
Strategic Contracting Specialist (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAJune 19, 2019
Management only cares about themselves and not the employees. Management will talk about you behind closed doors. Also, low pay but expect you to work more and bend over backwards for the company.

Sales and enrollment account specialists (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAJune 17, 2019
All I really have to say is that if you don't want to have to push expensive monitors on the elderly and desperate parents and also want to have a life outside of work then don't even consider this company.

Friendly co-workers and decent management
Cardiac Monitoring Technician (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CAMay 25, 2019
Greater than 90% of the shift is spent reviewing transmission and most communication is involved over telephone.

Developed a strong acuity for ekg interpretation

Culture is very laid back

Hardest part of the job is dealing with the occasional frustration that one would realize when there is inconsistency among management on how to deal with a situation.

My co-workers are very enjoyable to work with because most are kind and are ready to help.

Poorly managed company
Cashier (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAMay 8, 2019
Overall narrow minded company. 6 main people run the company and focus is related to sales and that’s it. Infrastructure is antiquated and crashing on a regular basis. Revolving door of people coming and going and people let go with no rationale.
Answer to all problems is to get lawyers on subject, and questionable ethical decisions and mindset driven from top down
Pros
None

Petty myopic and unethical company

EKG tech
ECG Monitoring Technician (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAApril 4, 2019
This job was only good because it allows you to train and obtain your credential. The bad part was that they required me to do 700 ecg interpretations per day, which, I only did one time in an entire year lol.
The place had a huge floor with numerous techs and the kitchen area was the size of a large bathroom, this was 2015, maybe they changed since then. The breaks had to be taken away from your desk. The employees would gossip constantly about inner office affairs etc. The pay was low for this industry, starting at $18 an hour. You have to work alternate weekends, which is horrible.
Pros
Training was stellar
Cons
terrible break room, weekend work, way too much required for a low paying job

Atrocious management, extreme favortism.
Patient Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Malvern, PAJanuary 27, 2019
If you enjoy micromanagement by a group of people who probably cant even spell professionalism let alone exhibit it. Then this "organization" is the place to be. The level of favortism is off the charts. Leadership is an absolute disaster, so bad that its almost funny. Literally every day it's a new company with a new direction, but they aren't aware of the prior direction and which way is up, left, down and forward. If you want to be a supervisor that is intimate with your team then this is the perfect role. Let this sink in. The company has had 60 percent total turnover in a 2 year period. Enough said.

Toxic Environment
Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Rochester, NYJanuary 3, 2019
If your looking for a good job where you are able to advance, collaborate, good pay (for work done), speak about issues without fear of management, this is not the place for you. Management runs the company like a big high school click where if they deem you in, you will advance even if you have no idea what you are doing on a daily basis. If you don't meet the specification of backstabbing and throwing your co-workers under the bus then you will be left where you started at the company and most likely be run out of the building even if you are a dedicated and hard worker. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you feel the need to take years off your life.
Pros
You get to leave at the end of your 12hr work day
Cons
Management, Structure, Work Hours, Training, and pretty much everything you can imagine
