To become a human and to interact with your staff. That is not the Queens tower you are in. Treat your staff equal as you want to be treated. You were once a floor nurse also. Floor managers need to get out of their offices and remember they were nurses also. Come down to the ground level for a change and mix with your staff, not at you town meetings either. The CEO before you came down to the floors knew each of our names and helped out. He was not afraid to be with us or the patients.
Speak with staff directly, invite 1-2 people for each department monthly, visit the hospital during off hours, not in your suit, in scrubs willing to offer a hand, ask pt what directly they would like improved. Come down from tower. handing out snacks and giving handouts is not a town hall meeting

The nurse to patient ratio is dangerous. The acuity of patients need to be considered with patient assignments.
Make sure it gets done right and fast
There are currently no issues that I would give the CEO advice about in regards to Blessing Hospital.
