Really enjoyed working for Blue Cross Blue Shield, great organization, friendly people. In house cafeteria so good you don’t have to leave the building to eat. Some companies brag about a great work/life balance, BCBS HSC means it! One of the best organizations I have worked. Pay was good, unfortunately Covid ended a lot of contractors positions. Overall excellent organization.

It is easy to advance from entry level to supervisor and management even without a college degree. However the company is heavily micromanaged and it can be stressful. Great pay and benefits though.

Interview Questions

Enough to make sure I'd settle for a very-underemployed position. I eventually advanced, but management culture at BCBS of SC is one of elitism, condescension, exlusion, demeaning raises, and a 'take it or leave it attitude. I burned out on them after 28 years.
