The HR department really knows how to treat employees and has all kinds of programs and perks in place to make it a great place to work. Examples: comparatively great salary and benefits, raises, organizational structure is clear, yearly training is fairly common sense and well done, change is communicated well, lots of perks like discounts on fitness memberships and equipment.

Overall, the company is a great. They reward hard-work and promotes advancement. I have learned so much will working here and I utilized the career advancement learning classes and programs that were offered. However, the department, well team, wasn't a good fit for me. I felt like my team leader was blocking my growth which had an impact on my view of the overall company.

If I could rate management a zero stars I would. No real focus on meetings and tasks. Lack tasks and jobs to do. A lot of meetings without achievement of a strategic purpose. Poor access and delay to tools and server names needed to work. Denied access to tools as a contractor to work and do tasks. Why hire ppl onboard if you don't have access to all the tools needed for them to work, unheard of. Favoritism and clicks are in this place and they don't value ppl who actually want to work and bring and share ideas. Team work and job culture horrible. Contractors are treated like dirt no benefits or health insurance. Lack of respect for others. Blue cross is a company just like Red cross that has been around for many years with a target goal of helping people. People in leadership and management are really giving Blue cross a bad/damaging reputation. If you continue like this might end up with lawsuits! Get rid of Leaders who are not fit to be managers; give feedback on work files and check on teamwork. A lot of ppl seasonal, have been wrongfully pushed out.If you want to grow with your talent and be a part of a team, this is not the place.

Why do you feel your a good candidate for this position? With over 10 years of customer service experience I know how important it is to satisfy our customers. Our customer's are our business and we should strive to resolve the issues the first time. Never give a customer homework. It's our job to make sure all concerns are resolved.
