Very terrible
Truck Driver Class A (Current Employee) –  Blue Springs, MSJune 20, 2018
BSM is very bad place to be at, I wouldn't recommend a trucking company to buy steel from them. Very slow, hardly ever on time, hardly ever have they're loads ready to be shipped. Dangerous at loading trucks and rude. I would recommend termination for management and staff as a whole.

productive place, workers were very helpful in any way, the lunch breaks were on time, the hardest part in the day was trying to get all the coils in inventory before you had to leave, management were very sympathetic

Terrible Place to work.
Office (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MSOctober 20, 2015
Expected to be on call 24/7. Lots of stabbing in the back. Forget any help from HR. You can get somewhere if you sleep with management, other than that, forget it. Poor leaders. Unproductive employees are rewarded. Extremely hostile and stressful work environment.

It's a good place for man but not a woman
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) –  Blue Springs, MSFebruary 16, 2015
A woman can do the job, But they really don't take the time to train you. There are no woman on the floor. Anybody can do the job if they have the right person to train you.
Pros
great people to work with
Cons
sometimes no breaks, lack of training
