Stop playing all of the satanic noise (pop music) on the intercom system. Have a better pay structure! Let us take more calls rather than limit that! Also, stop all of the foolish, immature ways and be more professional!
Promote the products even more
If I were in charge I'd hire my sales management team based on criteria other than friendships or family ties. Most of our managers are there because of long time friendships instead of proven TIMESHARE. sales success. Blue green WILL NOT ADDRESS THIS WELL KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED ENVIRONMENT. Many of our T.O.s simply did not do well on the sales floor so when their #s really fell they were promoted simply because of friendships or family ties. If I were in charge I'd promote based on business rather than emotion. I was once fired by a friend long ago and realized it was a business decision and have had to fire friends in the past as a business decision.why should those with longer tenure, better sales records and clearer business acumen have to listen to and be trained by those who can barely survive on the sales floor themselves? Makes no sense to those who are selling and not being promoted. I don't blame those who have the positions as they have to rely on others to sell so they can make a paycheck.
Stop trying to make everything a competition between co-workers. It is understandable in some aspects, but not in Guest Reception. It really hurt the moral of many employees and it stopped being a fun place to work. It was really irritating when I would show up on time, do everything I was asked (and then some), but see other people who did half of the work be rewarded because of things outside of your control. After awhile you just stop trying.
Get ride of a few managers that think they know how to sell
People need a consistent schedule to plan their life around. Offer people a consistent schedule.
