Working under inexperienced, rogue district managers who are taught to overwork, take no breAks. Hired because they were willing to kill themselves and accept the pay. This is not unique to Bluemercury but horrible how out of touch the owners CHOOSE to remain. They’ve moved on.

I would be fair about the schedule. I would hire stock people to come in and take care of stock so that the employees can focus on sales rather then doing stock all day. I would have more professional management who are seasoned and trained in employee relations. I would make Regionals and District managers more accountable then hiding behind one another for the stores they are over. There needs to be more of a professional team running this company.

Working here made me feel as though my life lacked meaning. I feel like I am just a “body” to fill a position, my talents were not being fully utilized. Unappreciated.

No questions were asked, I had to walk them through my resume. Very bizarre interview, they did not speak well of the company.
Only question was what is your salary expectation?
Disappointed to say the least ~ truly wanted to be a part of this fine company.

There is no culture. Each store is it’s own world. No set values, or mission. It’s who is the pet favorite or who does the most extra work without complaining.
