Money is good but not good enough

I started working at this hospital while it was going through a change from being a privately owned clinic to a corporate one. During this time, the quality of the staff and amount of fully staffed shifts took a downward turn. Hours got longer, shifts got harder, management became more and more inactive and yet the expectations for the staff continued - more ... to rise. Benefits got worse every year, which has become a nationwide problem, but the overall teamwork mentality has almost completely gone away. - less
ProsHoliday pay, Pto, benefits, occasional meals provided
ConsLack of team work, hands off approach to management, long and hard hours
