Just be on time and ready to start work .They have good benefits and you get sick time and vacation time. Its a clean place with air conditioning. You have health care and vision and dental 401k . The employees are like family and management treats you good
You have to clock in 5 minutes early and be on your job on time whether you have the equipment you need to do the job. And most of the time the lockers are in another department on the other side of the walls So it’s very hard to be in your location to start the daily process especially on the hanging and unloading line.. You learned who you could trust and who you couldn’t.Management sucks, they have their favorites. And they get to whatever they want to do. The short breaks you get and lunch are crazy. You don’t have enough time for a snack and a bathroom breaK before the buzzer goes off to start the job back. You are never trained right and they expect you to get it right the first time. They treat the material handlers really bad especially when they have a hard time keeping up on the loading and unloading lines and make fun of them. And get mad if the line stops. Some of the employees that care about you and don’t judge how you do your job. And are actually are your friends and you have a friendship outside of work.
Worked there for a good while. Started out as a great position, but after a co-worker was made supervisor, things went downhill!!
She was a control freak, and if you didn't do it her way, she was quick to let you know what you did wrong.
