Asked July 18, 2020Interview process is very relaxed. Pass a drug test. Keep in mind your a number. If your an operator or laborer and you preform there is work for you. Keep your mouth shut opinions to yourself and kiss up to the superintendent or foreman.
Answered October 15, 2020Meet with your mid management every other month to find out what is really going on with your company. At times the tail is wagging the dog! You need to pay attention to the reasons some jobs have poor results. Sub contract more work even if it means less profits because in the long run it will save you money on call backs to repair faulty work by your inexperienced work force. Some larger projects should be reviewed by project managers prior to bid. Estimating should be required to complete a site visit prior to sending bid. Most of your Foreman are spread too thin and should not be running 2 or 3 projects.
