A typical day consisted of about 30-50 phone calls, with documentation and assisting members with health benefits. Working within this company has taught me a lot about health insurance in general. The culture was great and I was surrounded by so many helpful and welcoming people. The management was very supportive and also extremely helpful. The hardest part of the job was simply making sure that the member is satisfied at the end of the call, especially if they called in upset to begin with. Although it was tough, it was a lot easier to do with time and support from the management. The job in its entirety was extremely enjoyable. I do believe that it is the best job I've ever had.
