Lack of Leadership
Manager (Current Employee) –  Springdale, ARApril 16, 2019
Lack of leadership and little to no direction given on any given day. Poor with communicating to their employees about initiatives that may impact their jobs and does not actively seek feedback from their employees to improve work conditions. While some departments recognize their employees for the work and contribution they give to the company, many do not.

Lack of direction from management
Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Woodbridge, NJMarch 28, 2019
Overall a good place to work, however, the lack of direction and poor communication from top management certainly affects performance at branch level.

This was a fun competitive sales job that was fast paced and busy! The job gives you an opportunity to talk to many different people from all over the country.

caller (Former Employee) –  Springdale, ARFebruary 26, 2019
Was good in the beginning but when it moved to another larger site the open floor plan was awful and loud and led to micro management. No good. Didn’t like it.

company clinging for life disguised as agile
TA (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INFebruary 12, 2019
management was tough, I recommend not sharing anything about yourself or else they'll use it to tear you apart. Day to day op is similar to wolf on wall street, people running around the office shooting hoops and nerf guns, cussing each other out and people on the phone, making/ receiving high volume of calls all day, and working through every lunch every day. No leaving the office if you're new. Oh yea and the CEO came and went faster than I did working there.

Transportation Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Versailles, OHJanuary 10, 2019
A typical day is calling and answering carriers for freight we are trying to move for customers. It can be very stressful dealing with carriers as there is a lot of lying and deception.
Pros
Day goes by fast, Great benefits
Cons
Micromanaged, Competitive/Shady Industry, Pay is not great

Transportation Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Springdale, ARJanuary 3, 2019
They really value their employees and are very understanding when something tragic happens in their lives. I would still be there if I wouldn't have lost my daughter and needed more time off than what FMLA offers.

Bnsf
Broker (Former Employee) –  Kernersville, NCJanuary 3, 2019
BNSF was a great company to work for , the energy was good and fun. A typical day would just be following up with your clients to make sure their freight was moving, after that you cold call other companies create trust that you are the one to move their products and handle anything else that they need

Director Of National Accounts (Current Employee) –  Springdale, ARJanuary 2, 2019
New changes in the Exceutive Management have created a change in the bonus structure to a less competitive monentary success. Several departments are run effectively. Health care benefits are good to care for their employees.

In general it is a great place to work
Transportation Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Bountiful, UTNovember 26, 2018
It has been a great place to work although there are some double standards that are practiced at the local management level. The corporate office is very supportive and treats their employees very well.

I worked here for almost 10 years, and it was an excellent place to work. Logistics is a challenging field to work in, but I was given the training, the tools, and the team to be able to get the job done.

No support and long hours
Intermodal Team Leader (Current Employee) –  Palatine, ILApril 7, 2018
Management provided little to no support for success and the hours were too long. Stressful work environment with high turnover made for a good work/life balance difficult to achieve.

Management is scary
Sr Software Engineer (Former Employee) –  Springdale, ARFebruary 26, 2018
They are starting a software shop to port existing third party software to in house coded software. Management has no idea how to run a software shop. The work is defined (Agile) by one guy how doesn't have the time write the stories. So the bi-weekly sprints are poorly defined, then they come in the middle of the sprint and change things. You wont really get to be the scrum master they just tell you that you are, then take all the control back. The politics can be navigated if you choose to kiss up to the one guy. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up.
Pros
Pool table free coffee
Cons
office politics

Fun place to work and shoot pool
Database Administrator (Former Employee) –  Springdale, ARFebruary 11, 2017
Typical day of work would be checking to make sure that all of the overnight ETL (extract, transform, load) job processes and run and completed in a timely manner, examine reports to ensure that they appeared to contain correct data and investigate anything that looked amiss.

I learned how to remotely administer UNIX/Linux servers better as I had to setup several virtual machines that were hosted in our cloud solution. Configured and administered a GIT repository for the Data Warehouse, administered my own Linux workstation. Got my hands dirty with Python, sed, and AWK.
Pros
free pool, knowledgeable workmates, everyone was so friendly, very relaxed work environment
Cons
hard to know what was expected of you sometimes, unclear naming convention, database layout was very ambiguous
