Incompetence of the middle management in marketing and consumer deposits is staggering
Let's just say, all the competent and smart people below SVP level who I worked with at BofI are no longer there. They moved on to different companies where their vision and insight are appreciated.
I had it relatively easy at first: had a great support of my mentor and managed to implement my own ideas and push my projects forward. But vision without - more... support from above collapses into nothing when middle managers want to maintain a status quo and refuse to change their stale views on the subject matter.
