I would make sure there was ample time to finish projects. Coordinate them with people who have experience, and have less experienced people working with experienced people to learn more tasks
Don't put up with the back- biting politics. Many direct and certain contract employees use lies or point fingers to save their own a**. Many a good employee can be, or is lost this way (if you are contract, and not protected by the union). It's ridiculous. Know your facts first, management. It's like being a high school girl out there. Get competent management. It's good to know the information you recieved is correct first, before acting. This quickly turns the working environment into chaos! This is a great company. I would hate to see it fail because of a few (he said she said). Bombardier has some of the best, experienced, people out there in the world's aviation. Utilize them.
Hire a CIO and give them all the financial backing to update technology. Then I would make the strategic plan align with the KPI’s of each department in which they don’t conflict.
I would create different division levels in growth opportunity for better chance and experience themselves for bigger opportunity for leadership . I would also create a monthly employ for the month with gift card and pto awarded because hardwork pays off..
Start work early and get off early. Also give workers holidays off in general and improve safety gear in several areas of different departments.
Implement continuous improvement program this will engage all employees and help the company grow as a team
