Worked at mobile for a year. The one thing I can say that was very good about working there was the flexible schedule. That being said your experience is gonna be dependent on the management there as I’m sure is the case for most jobs. The main reason why I left was, to put it bluntly because I grew tired of having to deal with the clientele.

A time consuming job and hard to get time off. If you put in the work on making sales then the time & commission is worth it.

typical day is coming in and selling phones. during the week it is not that busy very slow and relaxing, during the weekend it is fast paced and work mode on.

Horrible place

Boost mobile is a horrible work place very unorganized unprofessional and disrespectful the workers are usually rude and lost take forever to do anything they upscale every sale hide sneaky fake deals to get you to pay full price for other items

Productive and fun workplace but also stressful at times

it was an ok job there were good benefits and good co workers who have no choice and the food and be prepared to leave their own service at the time they get off.

They don't pay you enough to deal with the companies bad practices.

A lot of issues are not the customers fault but they cannot be solved in store. You get cussed out a lot by customers. It would be a better place to work if those issues were deal with

Good place to work for if you know how to sell or want to learn , i had no experience and got pretty good

Good first job to save up some $$ good commission , and managers are nice . Only gets a little annoying when it’s a slow week and they expect you to sell.

Too much stress

They pay 10 per hour and they keep pushing you to sell phones with new numbers to customer that already have their phone number for years. They keep calling you everything adding pressure to you but in 5 years working with them, the salary kept the same, 10 per hour, 60 hours a week. Not recommended

Worst place I’ve ever worked.

This job made me feel so uncomfortable everyday. The management was awful and rude most of the time. They only train you for a couple weeks and then they’ll throw you into a store by yourself and expect you to know everything.

It’s a good place to work when you don’t have experience. They will train you if you don’t know anything about the job. Sometimes you have difficult customers

Decent place to work at

I would have to open and close the shop.There are no lunch breaks.Manager would not be there until almost closinghardest part of the job is dealing with multiple customer while at the same time having computer issues. Also, having customers that are in a bad mood.

Pretty simple job

This job has been the easiest I've had so far. Our management is actually in a city 2 hours away so there technically isn't management around, which makes it necessary for an employee to have self discipline. This also makes it a little harder to keep up with new info and promos since no one is around to show us the new systems, promos etc. Wage isn't great and my co workers were denied a raise even after almost 2 years of employment each because of lack of funds. So I suppose it sort of equals out for how laidback it is, but sometimes i feel like I don't do much for a living.


dont clock out to get lunch, fairly flexible hours (if enough emplyees)


wage isn't the best, you technically don't get a lunch break, working by yourself constantly

Detail oriented

It was hard to keep up with the ever changing pace of customera- with not enough help from management on the weekends. Not a terrible place- but could have been easily improved.

unreliable , miss leading , poor communication between boss and employees

just for basic survival, no opportunity for growth. no health, PTO, paid holidays, or retirement benefits. sales goal will make it almost impossible to accrue, which affects main pay.

Ok place to work

Hours are too long and depending on the area customers are really stressful. Pay is ok but can be better. You basically play every role as an employee at one of the stores.

too many stores in one area leading to little or no customer traffic, commission is good but when there aren't any costumers entering your store there is none to be made

Rude Managers

Training was roughly a week, it's not enough to learn everything, managers are rude and as soon as your 1 week training ends they wanna put you alone in a busy location. Good luck, you'll need it. They text on their phones all day as well.


Paid to stand around.

Boost - Great for entry level sales experience

Nothing bad to say, depending on ownership you could get placed in a very exciting store. Expectations like all jobs are high and holiday time gets busy. But for the most part you are waiting around for a customer to come buy a phone or pay a bill. Sprint has weird policies through Boost and you will have alot of angry customers because of it. You are told not to help customers or fix anything, you are strictly a sales associate. But this is unrealistic because accidents happen left and right. So you have to know what you are selling and distributing

Good Pay

Overall great job, I loved working here, I just disliked having to basically run the whole store by myself, gets very frustrating. At times the store would be very busy and it’s annoying when it’s just you working that day and customers are aggravated because of the wait to get helped. Also not safe to work alone at night by yourself.
