Purpose that is fulfilling

Amazing company to work for with a clientele that has passion and hope for their future and their health so they are invested in their care and want to learn. Motivation of your patients energizes the caregiver to do their very best at all times. The follow through with patients is satisfying and the cards and thank you notes are always coming with positive reinforcement for a job well done.

Strong job satisfaction and endless opportunity for advancement

Upon walking into Boston IVF a little over a year ago, I knew it was a place I'd be dedicated to for years to come. I immediately felt part of an impactful team, each of us playing a significant role in helping create families all around the world. There are many intricacies and challenges in our day-to-day, but with that comes great reward and job satisfaction. Come join our team of talented, dedicated, passionate professionals; especially if you are willing to learn and climb the ranks. The opportunity here is truly endless.

Accounting team is small, everyone works well together, great work life balance

I've been working in the accounting department for a year this month. We are a small group that works well together. I feel I found a work place with great management and a great environment. As much as they are my bosses, they are willing teach, easy to talk to, understand work and life balance, and they are also very appreciative of everyone's daily work. The work load is balanced between the staff. Expectations and deadlines for monthly closes, year end close, and audits are always transparent. Overall I've had a great experience working at Boston IVF and I encourage people to join our team!

Great Doctor to work with. Truly cares for patients and the infertility journey

Enjoyed working at the Providence office with the Physician, and patients. Loved seeing patients through their journey to have a family. It’s an amazing feeling.

BIVF management needs to assess their company as a whole to find where the needs are of their employees so the employees can be more efficient.

Managers have taken credit for other employees work. Upper management had put a blind eye to what is going on in the company or chose to ignore it. There was never enough help in certain departments where other departments got all the hired help they needed. Upper management had only seemed to focus on two obvious items and only seem important to them which are $$$$ and favoritism of certain employees while the rest of us felt like we never existed. Never any communication within this company.

Pros

Good benefits Hour paid lunch

Cons

Culture of company was always horrible, Poor communication when I worked there, Favoring certain employees among management had always been an issue at BIVF during my 8 years there, Managers never had any regard for employee’s needs or concerns.

Not what I expected

very busy. Management does not communicate. Whole organization is focused on saving money. Old equipment. Cram patients in, minimal breaks.. every day is like a marathon. Very physical and tiring. No one ever seems to be in a good mood.

Pros

Paid Lunch

Cons

Management, focus on money

Disappointing

I worked here last summer and it was not a good experience. I literally hated going to work everyday. They do not want to train you, they’d rather have a scapegoat to blame everything on. Overall the staff just aren’t nice. They make you feel very uncomfortable when you are new. Also there are NO people of color that work there. Which makes it even more awkward, especially when you are one. I have a new job that pays me better and all of the people are very pleasant, kind, welcoming and extremely helpful throughout the training process. I would not recommend working here at all.

Pros

Nice office

Cons

Lack of diversity, improper training

Great side job with excellent pay, flexibility and very fair manager

OverallI’ve enjoyed my time working at Boston IVF. Fertility is a nice niche to be involved in. Wish there were more full time opportunities for techs( most are per diem and part time without benefits). The hourly pay is excellent here. Ultrasound manager is great but upper management is somewhat out of touch with the people on the frontline which can always be a bit frustrating.

Gossipy work culture

BIVF is an ok company to work for if you never want to make any advances in your career. Management is impossible to contact. IT is misogynistic.

Pros

Good benefits/pay

Cons

Everything other than the pros listed above

Great Co-Workers

They fire people if you don’t conform to their needs. Everyone had to work weekends except one tech. I made a dollar more than the SPD lady. Horrible PAY

Pros

Great nurses, Christmas bonus, you got paid for unused sick time

Cons

Management

Worst company ever!!

When I got hired it was a new position and i was excited to work in the finance department. After i was told by my recruiter that I would ly have to work a few weekends after working a full week o was ok with that. When I started I was also told that of i had a previous obligations that my manager was very flexible. On my first week I told her I had plans my manager didn't say anything and I assumed she was ok with it. The next week she didn't so I assumed it was ok. The next week she ignored fme for the entire week and on Friday i got fired. She was very unprofessional and very unapproachable as she could have easily said she needed me. This place is run like a kindergarten school and the manager should be fired as she has no business managing anyone.

Surgery Center

Great place to work. Supportive management. Many positive changes, especially in staffing. Has become a positive and fun working environment. Super busy fertility center. Patients are great. Coworkers are great.

Poor

When you ask for help you don’t get it. Make sure you document all your work because anything the nurses do will fall back on you. Poor communication. The nurses make a lot of mistake and then blame whoever they can to cover themselves
