It was interesting. I flew to Boston on a weekend, met with the president for an hour and was hired on the spot. It was unlike any interview I have been involved in.

The hours were long and they were all busy with high expectations for production and flexibility. I thrived, and it gave people with a good wok ethic and less gilt-edged credentials a chance to compete and succeed. It was like playing sports. I loved it.

20 days per year, and I could always inform the supervisor the day before if I wanted to use a day however, when the new manager took over it was required to give a two week notice. Sometimes things come up at the last minute so it's not always possible to give such advance notice.
