Loved working with such a diverse group of people. Job was very demanding.
There were many personal interactions throughout the day, both with co-workers and customers. I got the chance to review monthly Profit and Loss statements and make necessary adjustments to improve the bottom line. The hours were very demanding, including most weekends and holidays.

enjoyed being responsible for other departments
This retail food chain is no longer in PA. Working here there were weeks that there would be many hours of work and other weeks that were minimal. I did enjoy working here because here, I learned different areas of the store (account analyst, cash office assistant). I was proud to have been trusted with other responsibilities.

Doomed from the start
Unfortunately this company was set up to fail from the very begining by it's parent company, Delhaize America. Generally the associates and store management are relatively competent, very friendly and helpful. Rang up customers and faced shelves and cleaned
It was a fun environment and the co-workers were great. The management was kind of new but did their job well. The hardest part was keeping busy. the best part was the people you got to work with.
