Overall, I enjoy my job. I really just wish we were paid more for all that we do. The Techs (BHA) run large groups, de-escalate intense situations, monitor client activity at all times… We basically run around all day trying to maintain peace in the community, while also getting the necessary tasks done. It is not an easy job by any means. You get out what you put into it. I love helping/inspiring others and that’s the reason I stay. The hours are pretty flexible and there is usually OT available as well. But $15/hr to ensure the safety and well-being of 100+ people at all times is disappointing. I think higher pay would help more people apply and more employees last. The experience is definitely unlike any other, though! I have learned so, so much doing all that we do here. It’s a good starting point.

Poor management. A lot of chaos. Patients disrespect staff and are not held accountable. Work schedule changes without notice. Mandating happens constantly due to short staffing and constant call offs. Immature coworkers. Lack of respect for diversity.

full or part time work with constant opportunity for overtime from all the call outs/personal/sick/vaca time. They don't like no for an answer. Clients could get away with murder without fear of consequences. I'm not sure how this place works for anyone other than a short vacation from the streets. I wouldn't recommend the job or the treatment to anyone.

An ok place to get your foot in the door. This is not a long term gig! The overtime hours are ALWAYS AVAILABLE, but most days you’ll be so worn/stressed out that you will care less about money and just want to go home!!!

You will learn a lot and will be on your toes. Rewarding work for fair pay. It was my crash course into real world nursing. I was exhausted doing it but I miss the job.
