It was both interesting and helpful with my own study at Bowling Green University. My advisor was excellent. The most enjoyable part of the job was the opportunity to understand the application process to the program as well as learning how to avoid certain mistakes from the grading of homework.
I have really enjoyed teaching college students Public Speaking. The students are motivated and creative writers, they are striving to learn to speak before an audience and to write well-crafted speeches. I value the time in the classroom and the internet interactions I have with my students. However, I would much rather have a full-time job with benefits than continue in this part-time position, where I have to pay my own medical insurance and save a portion of my salary toward retirement.
A great deal of free time between classes, during which I can work on my own academic scholarly projects.
