Youth Care Counselor (Current Employee) –  Portland, OROctober 24, 2014
This was a great workplace where each day was an adventure. It was great working with all the girls on their skills and seeing the progress week by week. The hardest part of the job was seeing some girls stumble in their decision making when you can clearly see a bright future ahead of them. The most satisfying part is investing yourself and your talents into them, being a support when perhaps no one else in their life was. It was a joy to work with these girls and understand their life and their path, and hopefully help them grow in a way that allows them to choose the best option for themselves. Management was keen on communication and would always be there to support you and ask you how you are doing, help you if they see room for improvement, and always encourage you to do your best. The management really cared for this program and you could see their passion in their work.
Free outings, fun outings, never bored, Graduation parties
