Stressful

Sadly, non clinical staff have no clue the importance of what nursing staff does. They work from guidelines from the state of PA. People’s lives are in their hands. An LPN working alone to care for Detox, Residential and Partial clientele is very dangerous. No written protocol in place. No follow through. No decent food, counted beverages for detox patients. Bradford is an amazing place to work with great outcomes as you help people recover from their addiction. This was the most rewarding job I have ever had. My department however was not as amazing. From constantly being threatened by unruly patients to having your supervisor throw a temper tantrum because you asked them to work more than 40 hours a week.
