Over all, working here was a great experience. Working with great people, and if there was any problem my manager or supervisor was there to fix it.
I met new people, and liked my environment. hardest part were dealing with some other workers, or residents but I worked through it.

There is a friendly environment starting with a smiling face at the concierge as soon as you come in the door. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and everyone knows each other. There are always people willing to help. I started in one position and in 2 1/2 years I became part of the management team. I have finally found a workplace that I want to stay at. This is the place I want to retire from down the road.
Pros
Feels like family, $2 lunch which includes drinks, appetizer, entree and dessert. I work 2 miles from my home. Parking is always available.

Severely understaffed and over work you so you end up never happy going into work. the nursing director will turn a blind eye and they will not hire staff for second shift. They don’t work with schedules so it’s hard to want to work there at all. Then when you turn down full time because they understaff you so often they ask you why every time they ask you. Maybe if you realized nurses are working as aides that s how understaffed we are they are.

Working in the Kitchen means you can get yelled or have other verbal harassments thrown at you by the director of dining. Corporate will not do anything about the bullying of employees in that department. They pay $12 in dining which is the only good thing. If you like money a good place to work because they are always short-staffed and are always in need of people, a bad place to work if you are not okay with being mistreated by management.
Pros
$12, hours 7 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 7:30pm, hours can be fixable
Cons
mistreatment of employees

This company is the worst company I’ve ever work for in my life. Management doesn’t care about the staff at all. They are very racist towards Blacks they have a lot of clicks if you’re not a part of the click you don’t fit. This company is always short two people. Sometimes it’s 3 staffing doing Memory care. AL combine. It is an extremely stressful place to work only good thing I can say is the building is extremely clean

It was good, fun at the beginning but then management changed and it did a turn for the worst. There were rules that weren't fair to the staff. Most of the time staff didn't have a voice they just had to shut up and do their jobs. They didn't want to hire anyone instead they just OVER WORKED! the people already working there even if they clearly saw we were short staffed it was like they didn't care. Management was just the worst. A lot of unfairness as well. The residents pay way too much for what it is. You can tell how stressed the staff were just by looking at their faces. The job pay was low for the amount of work the staff does and had to put up with. The good thing about working here is how nice some residents are, they were like family.

The workplace is or can be very Pleasent... I adore the residents... I’m there working as best as I can for them. What makes it challenging at times is some staff do not corporate and are difficult to manage. Bad attitude makes a bad work place

During the time at Brandywine, I wanted to quit several time because of management. They were very unprofessional and rude, as an employee you could not as a question much less inquire about benefits or days off.
You wasn't given and opportunity to voice your opinion or speak up for the patients, otherwise you're blackballed and listed as a trouble maker.

Good job good pay, short staffed. NO WEEKENDS off . No requests off. Have to find your own coverage. Favoritism. They don’t value their employees. Nurses suck

To all who show that you yourself can be a reliable, punctual employee with enthusiasm, the company will bend over backwards to see you succeed!
I find encouraging support from the supervisor staff.
