As your full-service professional geotechnical, environmental consulting and testing firm, we’re there for you during all stages of the project—from planning, to design and construction, to ongoing management and operations. Our mix of services provides the science you need for your projects.
We strive to be the employer of choice for our employees. Our culture is driven by an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that drives the industry-leading solutions we create for our clients. And we’re hiring in a broad range of disciplines.
We’re 100% employee-owned, thanks to our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and focused on generating sustainable growth that creates more opportunities for our employees. We value collaboration and work/life balance.
We want our employee-owners to be fully engaged — at home, at work and in their communities. We provide our employees with a full range of benefits including comprehensive medical and dental plans, paid time off (as well as volunteer time off), participation in our ESOP, technical training and career development resources, and access to our wellness program to encourage healthy behaviors and choices.
With our long history and extensive staff expertise, Braun Intertec has provided construction materials testing services to a broad range of developers, contractors, consultants, municipalities, agencies and corporations. You’ll find our expertise on the most monumental structures throughout the central United States, including reconstruction of the I-35W Bridge, Mall of America, Target Field, Target Center, and the Devils Lake Roads Acting as Dams and Central Corridor Light Rail Transit projects. At Braun Intertec, we work closely with your team early in the process to anticipate and minimize potential problems that could result in costly project delays, and we’ll help you work toward targeted solutions.
Whether you need drilling services for a geotechnical evaluation, environmental services, in-situ testing, or mineral exploration, Braun Intertec Drilling—our wholly owned subsidiary—has the experience and equipment to get the job done.
With a drilling fleet that includes truck-mounted, all-terrain (ATV), skid-mounted and Geoprobe® rigs, the versatility of our rigs make it possible to drill year-round even when conditions are soft, deeply snow-covered or swampy. Additionally, we can perform direct push and auger borings in tight areas or inside buildings. We can even meet your specific needs for barge-mounted drilling in locations over water or push-probe drilling inside an existing building.
Because we have a fleet of rigs, you’ll benefit from improvements in cost estimating, greater scheduling control and dedicated time to the job.
Our drilling crews put safety first and receive regular training to maintain and further their knowledge of safety, soils classification and drilling techniques. In addition, our drill crews obtain and maintain the licenses and certifications necessary to provide services for a large range of projects.
From drill assistant to operations manager, our very own Matt Balster talks about the opportunities to advance and build a rewarding career at Braun Intertec.
At Braun Intertec, our employees own the company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Our employee-owner culture is a driver of our success. Because our employee-owners have a financial interest in the company, they have a vested interest in delivering quality services to our clients. The ESOP model is supported by developing programs that compensate, communicate to and inspire others to “think and act like owners.” We work to build a community of employee-owners through team-building events and activities.
Our workplace is full of engaged employee-owners who value and encourage a healthy workplace. At our firm, we promote employee health to encourage a productive lifestyle both at work and at home. Our wellness initiatives continue to have a positive impact on the lives and well-being of our people. We offer a variety of health management resources and tools focused on diet, nutrition, exercise, education, and disease-management. In addition, we continue to identify tools that address the health needs and priorities that are important to our employee-owners. – less
