Warehouse Trainer (Current Employee) –  Plainfield, INMarch 17, 2018
Good place to start a career if you have not other responsibilities. Management is strong on saying the right things but weak on enforcement. National leadership has good principles and culture. Local management struggles to implement them.

Production Planner/Scheduler (Former Employee) –  Carlsbad, CAFebruary 25, 2018
It's a good school if you're starting you're career. They pay low but you learn a lot.

- People working over there is good and they'll teach you well.
Pros
Good medical benefits
Cons
Demands a lot of time over the 40 hours and no over time paid

Long hours
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INFebruary 13, 2018
Working for Breg was average, the days were long averaging 9.5 hour days, but the plus was having weekends off. It left very little time with family because the hours would be from 11 am to whenever production was done in the evening.

The recruiters at this office were very nice and welcoming. They helped me find a job that meets my qualifications in a timely manner. They were very helpful in my new employment search.

Patient Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Mount Laurel, NJOctober 11, 2017
Management heavy with little regard to you as an individual. Communication is awful between Human Resources and management. Breg does not care what kind of experience you might have regarding job specific roles. They only want people who fit their mold.

Forklift/Material Handler (Current Employee) –  Carlsbad, CAMarch 16, 2017
To be honest I enjoyed the culture of this company. I do have to say that the structure needs work specifically in management in the warehouse. hardest part of the job is getting recognition for work completed or goals reached.

Breg - Stay Away
Confidential (Current Employee) –  Carlsbad, CANovember 1, 2016
Stay away - poor management, poor work-life balance, no room for advancement, leaders are not trustworthy, and your work will never be recognized. "Unlimited" PTO policy is a joke - you have to basically beg for time off.

Employees are not valued
Sales (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaSeptember 17, 2016
Several years ago this company was great to work for. But this year they have fired so many people who were very dedicated and contributed a lot to the company. The share of cost for healthcare is ridiculous. Not allowed to make mistakes or be honest on whether your work load has become unmanageable. So many people have left that job responsibilities are dispersed among those remaining rather than hiring new people. It is impossible to be proactive in this company... Only reactive. The focus has changed to quantity not quality.
Pros
Co workers, bonus (which I'm sure will not happen next year), salary ok
Cons
Workload, HR supports management not employees

Lead SME- Medical Biller (Former Employee) –  Carlsbad, CASeptember 6, 2016
I worked with the offshore team to bill out the medical claims.

Great location, not a lot of room for growth.

Lots of competition and mergers down the line.

Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) –  Carlsbad, CAMay 26, 2016
Request and process credit applications for credit manager's approval, Enter new customer accounts in ERP system, Process daily invoices, Process customer refunds, credit memos and adjustments, cash application, maintenance of customer and vendor master files, general administrative support. Disputed and resolved a high volume of chargebacks resulting in winning a large amount of chargebacks, lowering bank fees for the company

Basically put, this company lacks structure
Picker/Packer/Shipper (Current Employee) –  Plainfield, INMay 12, 2016
There is absolutley no structure with in this employer and company.
They make statements about how they are going to promote from within and never follow thru, therefore hiring from outside the company. This employer causes low morale, and at times creates a hostile work environment because of morale.
Pros
Easy job
Cons
you'll never have a chance to move within the company

Collaborative and easy-going satellite office environment. Decent amount of red tape and politics, but this is expected of a big company.

Poor Management and No Commitment to Employees
Sales (Former Employee) –  CarlsbadApril 1, 2015
This is a terrible place, stay away. Look at all the bad reviews on Glassdoor and know that they are consistent.

Poor leadership. HR is their worst example. Four reorgs during the time that I was there, just under a year.

Old school employees are afraid of new people and new people are treated as transients.
Pros
Pay and benefits are ok
Cons
Poor management - Bad Leadership beginning with HR
